At the end of the first season, we witnessed the death of Baji Keisuke, a top executive of TOMAN(Tokyo Manji Gang) & Takemichi returned in the future. But there was a grave danger waiting for him. In the last episode TR left a big cliffhanger, Kisaki the main antagonist of the show is pointing his gun toward Takemichi.
The second season will pick up from that moment. The second season is mainly about the battle of TOMAN vs 10th Gen Black Dragon. We’ll witness the background story of the Shiba Siblings & we’ll get more screen time of Takashi Mitsuya (2nd Division Captain of TOMAN).
There will be an awesome battle between TOMAN & Black Dragons on Christmas night. So Weebs tie your seat belts & get ready because Mikey & others are coming back!!!!
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Jujutsu Kaisen is a famous Japanese animanga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. Short after its release the show got immense popularity & became one of the main fan-favourite New gen anime.
The first season was all about Yuji & his new journey as a Sorcer in Tokyo Jujutsu High. But the second season is gonna be quite different from the first one. In the second season, we will see the backstories of Gojo Satoru. Yep, everyone’s favourite Gojo sensei’s Sorcery life while he was still a student.
In the trailer, we got a glimpse of Toji Fushiguro, after the introduction of this character I can assure you that the list of favouritism will go through a massive change. Cause that’s how fascinating a character he is. The main attraction of the season is going to be the fight between Gojo & Toji. So guys just put your helmets on cause JJK is gonna blow your heads!!!!!
Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village
Demon Slayer or Kimetsu no Yaiba is a famous Japanese animanga written & illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The animation team has already released 2 Seasons & 1 one movie till now. The last season was aired in 2021.
As we all know KNY is famous for its marvelous animation style & the last season really went all out in terms of animations. Especially the last fight between Tanjiro & Tengen vs Gyutaro was a treat to the eye. All over the Entertainment District arc was really nice & enjoyable. Now once again we are ready to witness the journey of our Demon Hunting squads in the Swordsmith Village arc.
In the trailer, we got a little glimpse of the Love Hasrhia Mitsuri Kanroji & Mist Hashira Muichiro. In this arc, we are going to get two awesome back-to-back fights between Upper Moons & Hashiras. Muchirio is gonna show us who the boss is around here. Other than that we will get more screen time & back stories of these two Hashiras.
Vinland Saga Season 2
Vinland Saga is a famous animanga written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura. The first season was aired in 2019 with 24 episodes. The first season was animated by WIT & the second season animation team will be MAPPA.
The finale of the first season of Vinland Saga begins with King Sweyne announcing the successful Viking conquest of England at the Imperial Council in York. However, tensions rise among the Danish after an assassination attempt on Canute. Askeladd reveals that he is actually Lucius Artorius Castus, the heir to ruling Britannia, and kills King Sweyne in an act of rebellion.
Thorfinn gets into a fight and is sent to jail, where he is offered the chance to leave with Leif Erikson. Askeladd protects Canute during a battle and sacrifices his own life, Thorfinn ultimately cuts Canute, but he survives and takes control. Thorfinn is taken away at the end of the battle.
The new trailer for Vinland Saga season 2 confirms that the story will pick up with Thorfinn working as a slave on a Danish farm after he attempts revenge against Askeladd failed. It also gives a brief glimpse at the story’s second main narrative, which centres on the rise of King Canute the Great’s growing empire. The trailer features the show’s new opening title song, “River” by Anonymouz, and hints at some key plot points.
Vinland Saga season 2 is expected to be quite different from season 1, as it is expected to focus more on character development for Thorfinn rather than the gore and intense fight scenes of the first season. This season is considered by many to be one of the best, but it is also geared toward more mature viewers.
If you enjoyed the first season mainly for its action and violence, you may be disappointed in the shift in focus in season 2. However, those who appreciate character development and a deeper exploration of themes and ideas may find the second season to be particularly rewarding.
Misfit of the Demon King Academy Season 2
Misfit of the Demon King Academy is the anime adaption of the famous Japanese light novel written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The first season was aired in 2020 and the second season is all set to come out in 2023. Most of the cast is the same but the MC Anos’s voice actor replaced Tatsuhisa Suzuki with Yuichiro Umehara.
The first season has covered up to the third volume of the novel and most likely the second season will cover from the fourth to the ninth volume of the novel. In the first season, we saw Anos the Demon King of Tyranny has been reincarnated after 2000 years. He enrolled himself in the Demon King Academy to prove his worth but he ended up branding himself a Misfit.
With the series going on we found out that Anos killed himself 2000 years ago to form a peace between Gods, Demons & Humans. But someone sullied his name in history. At the end of the series, he finds that person is none other than his only human rival Hero Kanon. The series ended with a heartwarming reunion & battle between them. Ultimately, they finally managed to form peace between all the fractions.
In the trailer of season 2, we have caught a glimpse of the Great Spirit Reno & Norse God Nosgalia. The other fractions & a Demon from 2000 year ago is plotting some hideous plan to eliminate Anos. Gods & other fractions are also included in this plan.
The second season will be about the Great Spirit Arc. There will be important character appearances & fights in this season. So guys once again get ready to witness our beloved MC Anos Voldigoad.
Bungou Stray Dogs season 4
Bungo Stray Dogs is a famous Japanese animanga series written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa. The first season was animated in 2016 & soon after that, it got insanely popular among the Weebs.
Fyodor gets detained by some men. Though, he reveals a secret strength that enables him to murder one of the assailants before they can totally restrain him. Viewers are left to wonder what type of power Fyodor has.
The Armed Detective Agency later takes a cruise to celebrate their success. Members of the agency, Dazai, and Atsushi, raise their glasses in a toast to the other members of the Stray Dogs. Overall, the narrative comes to a proper finish and the storyline is satisfactorily concluded.
Sigma, a terrorist from the Decay of the Angel organization, is one of several new characters that the trailer introduces. In the narrative, a gang of characters known as The Armed Detective Agency is shown running from the Hunting Dogs and looking for Decay of the Angel, as they were the ones who framed the former. The Port Mafia, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald are among the returning figures in the trailer.
Record of Ragnarok Season 2
Record of Ragnarok is a famous Japanese animanga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui and illustrated by Ajichika. The first season came out in 2021 with 12 episodes.
The gods and mankind engage in a series of epic conflicts during the Valhalla arena’s maiden season. Thor defeats Lu Bu to win the first match, Zeus then somehow manages to beat Adam. Sasaki Kojiro stops their winning streak by defeating Poseidon the great. It’s 2-1 in favor of the Gods. For the fourth human combatant, the infamous Jack the Ripper, the arena is made to resemble Victorian London in the post-credits sequence. The final bout will pit him against Hercules, the Greek hero who became a deity.
The trailer of season 2 shows a glimpse of a fight between Jack the ripper and Hercules. The human fighters’ commander, Brunhilde, is committed to ensuring humanity’s victory. She is aware that Hercules, who’s renowned for his honour and bravery, won’t stand a chance against Jack, one of history’s most notorious people.
Conclusion
There is news of many more upcoming New animes & sequels I have not added them to the list of popular anime sequels in 2023 as the dates are not confirmed yet. But as far as I know, AoT Final Season and OPM Season 3 are also all set to premiere in 2023. Let’s hope for the best.
